Who am I?
A Resilient Beacon, a CEO of her own company and a traditional talking therapist, Author Talent Chioma Mundy-Castle has coined the nickname “The Authentic Mother Mentor”, due to her life experiences and how she “mothers” anyone that she comes into contact with.
Talent is originally from Lagos, Nigeria where her journey from pain to power began. From a very young age, her childhood was stolen from her as she was an orphan and homeless.
Unfortunately, Talent lost her mother as she was giving birth to her, and five years after, her father passed away.
Her earliest memories of her childhood she can remember hearing gunfire and cries of people who were wounded that haunt her until this day.
Through her journey from childhood to adolescence she encountered a man that changed her life for the greater good and has taught her so many valuable life lessons that she still stands by today. This man became a part of her life and later married.
At this present day, he is no longer living, but through the course of life, Talent will always be grateful and appreciative of how much this man contributed positively towards her life—and this is what she always refers to her mentees to never regret what you have been through in your life and the people you encounter.
Talent’s vision is to empower women to embrace their strengths, conquer challenges and inspire CHANGE.
In a world where darkness is seen to be the undeniable reality of so many; within the period of darkness in Talent’s life, she emerged as a beacon of resilience which is what drives her to mentor and inspire whoever she meets.
Why I am doing this ?
I’ve become more than I ever imagined possible in life. As a core orphan, survival seemed uncertain, given that my entry into the world coincided with my mother’s exit. I endured what I call “Bitterness and Pain in a Big Bag” (BPBB).
I faced various forms of abuse—physical, sexual, emotional, mental, and psychological. Who would have thought I’d be standing here today? Am I superior to anyone? The answer is “NO.”
I’ve personally experienced bitterness and its impact on life, which is why I’m now dedicated to empowering women. If you’ve ever tasted bitterness in your life, this message is for you. And if you desire a life free from bitter pain, reach out to us. Thank you.
The definition of bitterness:
“Is Someone who is bitter, angry and unhappy because they cannot forget the bad things that happened in their lives.
